Once a librarian and later a lawyer, Betty J. Karweick maintained a deep love for books throughout her life. This series was established in 2024 with a generous gift in her honor.

About the series

The Betty J. Karweick Virtual Author Talks Series features virtual talks each month by bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors and speakers from around the world.

This free, virtual series takes place two to three times a month and includes the opportunity to ask questions of the author.
You can view and register for future talks on the library's event calendar. You can also access past talks here.

All events are free and open to Verona Library Patrons. For more information or to register for any of the talks, visit the Library Speakers Consortium.
